FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
Richard Ashplant, Managing Director, and founder of the Company over 30 years ago. Began his career in the joinery trade as a bench joiner and soon developed this into site joinery
A family man, Richard likes to spend any spare time relaxing with his family and friends or getting out and enjoying beautiful Guernsey on his bike.
JAMIE SELLWOOD
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Jamie has been a quantity surveyor in the UK for over 20 years working for sub-contractors, main contractors, volume house builders, chartered surveyors and private clients.
Jamie enjoys walking his dog Floyd on the island, and is always open to an offer of a round of golf!
CRAIG MAHIEU
CARPENTER & FOREMAN
Craig re-joined the Company that he had been part of for six years in March 2020 when he heard Richard was recruiting again after having run his own successful carpentry and general building business for the past five years. A very experienced, qualified carpenter who likes to be involved in all aspects of the industry.

ALISON TORODE
ADMIN & ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Alison joined the Company in October 2021 as the Administration and Accounts Officer. Alison is a dedicated employee with impressive organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the Company. She is responsible for managing all accounts procedures, including the timely and accurate payment to all suppliers and the invoicing processes, thus ensuring the Company meets all its financial obligations. She handles enquiries and is often the clients first contact within the Company.
In addition to her financial duties, she is deeply involved in managing the Company’s human resources functions. She is responsible for overseeing employee records and payroll processing.
Alison has a hectic life outside of work caring for both older and younger relatives however she does enjoy creative crafts such as painting and knitting.
Recently, she decided to take things up a notch and bought an electric bicycle! A fun way to get out and get fitter.
MATT HARDWICK
CONTRACTS MANAGER
Matt joined the company in October of 2024 as the Contracts Manager.
HARRISON GREENHALF
TRAINEE QUANTITY SURVEYOR
After undertaking work experience in March 2024, Harrison was offered a full time placement within the company to become a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, and joined in July 2024. Without much experience, Harrison is still learning the ins and outs of the Construction business.
He enjoys spending time with his family & walking their dog.
